Jump for Joy – Sport Set
The Jump for Joy Sport Set is specifically designed for aspiring gymnasts aged 7 to 11, providing equipment that supports structured skill development and physical education objectives. Each component within the set offers unique opportunities for balance, climbing, jumping, and sliding, helping children to develop confidence, coordination, and core strength. The soft, supportive surfaces allow young gymnasts to attempt basic elements safely while reducing the risk of injury.
Instructors can use individual pieces for targeted exercises or combine several items to create dynamic obstacle courses, circuits, or challenges that develop multiple skills simultaneously. The range encourages children to experiment creatively, fostering both physical and imaginative development. By integrating the Sport Set into lessons, teachers can support progression in gymnastics while maintaining high engagement levels. Its durable construction ensures long-term use, making it suitable for both school and club environments where structured physical activity is a priority.
Making it Suitable for Both School and Club
The Sport Set provides versatility for skill progression and creative play. Children can explore movement safely using the soft barrel, large and small wedges, cuboid, soft box, and bridges. Each item promotes different physical attributes: balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and controlled movement. Teachers can link the pieces together to create obstacle courses that challenge strength, flexibility, and agility, supporting structured PE lessons or extra-curricular gymnastics clubs.
The set encourages experimentation, enabling children to attempt climbing, sliding, jumping, and rolling in a safe, supportive environment. The included support pack guides teachers with activity ideas, structured progressions, and creative ways to combine equipment for varied lessons. As children move through the different apparatus, they develop confidence, poise, and technical awareness while enjoying fun, engaging challenges. Designed for durability, the Sport Set withstands repeated use, ensuring that it remains a reliable resource for developing gymnastics skills in young learners.
